Born and raised in San Francisco George grew up watching Grand Ole Opre. His parents were both from back in the hills of West Virginia and Virginia. As a teenager he cut his teeth on 60’s music scene in S.F. At age 14 his family moved from California back to the South. First playing in south western Virginia, he soon ended up in Huntsville Alabama (country music Mecca), applying his roots to country music at an early age. George journeyed through many musical forms including Jazz, Blues, Rock, Country, Pop, New Wave, Motown, Reggae, Gospel and back to his roots… ‘Americana’. George plays drums, mandolin, guitar, bass, lead and harmony vocals. “I love making music with The Random Strangers band. There is so much great talent in this band and it feels like home”.
